Sponsored by the Dexter Kiwanis Club, Pack 477 has worked for many years to shape and mold the youth in and around Dexter, Michigan with the goal of producing exemplary future leaders in our community and beyond. We recently earned the Quality Unit Award for 2009, 2008 and the Centennial Quality Unit Award for our 2007 scouting program. Pack 477 is proud of our active support of the Dexter community.
Our scouts and their families have helped distribute Dexter Luminarias, provided landscaping manpower for Cornerstone Elementary School, painted the fence at the restored Gordon Hall and conducted other activities providing over 450 hours of community service in 2007 alone. We are also a 2006 recipient of the Salvation Army's Youth Service Award.
